Mr. Allen G. Clark

July 3, 2005

CLARK

Mr. Allen G. Clark of Rimbey, Alberta

went to be with the Lord on Sunday,

July 3, 2005 at the University of Alberta

Hospital, Edmonton at the age of 56

years.

Allen was born in Coronation, Alberta

and grew up in the Red Deer area. He

was united in marriage to Frieda in 1976.

They had two children and moved to Rimbey in 1980. Allen

worked as an Engineman for CP Rail, and considered his home

and family life more important than overtime on the job. He

had high family values and cared for his grandchildren dearly,

spending quality time with them whenever he could. Allen

was a dedicated friend to those he met and came to know.

Friends were very important to him. He thoroughly enjoyed

visitation as well as entertaining. Allen passed away at the

University of Alberta Hospital after a lengthy battle with

leukemia. In that time, he came to know the Lord in a very

special way, also to the understanding that God truly loved

him and that his suffering was not in vain. His family unit was

strengthened and many others had learned to experience God

through the awesome circumstances of his journey.

Allen will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Frieda; his son,

Greg (Brieanna); his daughter, Stephanie; and his four special

grandchildren, all of Rimbey. He will also be lovingly

remembered by his mother, Hazel Clark; and his two brothers,

Mark (Linda); and Randy (Judy), all of Red Deer; as well as

various nieces, nephews, and his cousins, especially Doug Clark

(Linda) of Warburg; and Rex Mayberry (Beatrice) of Red Deer.

Allen was predeceased by his father, Gavin in 1986; and his

brother, Thomas in 1974.

An Interment Service was held at the West Haven Cemetery,

Rimbey on Thursday, July 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. The Family

welcomed everyone to share in the Celebration of Allen’s Life

which followed at 11:30 a.m. at the Rimbey Church of the

Nazarene, Rimbey with the Reverend Dave MacMillan

officiating. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Allen’s

Memory may be made directly to the Cross Cancer Institute,

c/o Alberta Cancer Foundation, 11560 University Avenue,
