Mr. Ernest "Ernie" R. Dittman of Hoadley, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the age of 77 years. Ernie will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his three sisters, Anne and her husband, Peter Ilkiw of Port Coquitlam, B.C.; Mary-Ann and her husband, Richard Climie of Fox Creek, Alberta; and Liz Crowe of Stony Plain, Alberta; as well as his niece and his nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Ernie was predeceased by his loving wife, Hazel in February of 2014.
With respect for Ernie's wishes, no formal Funeral Service will be held. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. An Interment Service in Celebration of Ernie's Life will be held at a later date in the Hoadley Cemetery, Hoadley.
