The Family of Mr. Henry “Hank”
M.J. Rauhala of Rimbey, Alberta is
very sad to announce his peaceful
passing at the Rimbey Hospital and
Care Centre, Rimbey on Tuesday,
August 2, 2005 at the age of 63 years.
Hank was born in Wetaskiwin, Alberta on October 15,
1941. He was the youngest of eight children born to
Matthew and Alma Rauhala. Hank resided in the
Ponoka area until 1963, and was united in marriage to
Barbara Hebert on October 9, 1965.

Hank will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Barb;
his son, Darryl Rauhala of Rimbey; and his daughter,
Wendy Guldbrandsen (Bill Samuel), also of Rimbey; as
well as five special grandchildren, Falon, Jolene, Connor,
Blake and Aaron. He will also be lovingly remembered
by one sister, Dagmar Walter of Sherwood Park; his
aunt, May (Guy) Wayman of Edmonton; several
brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and
nephews. Hank was predeceased by his parents; one
brother; and five sisters.
Memorial Services in Celebration of Hank’s Life were
held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rimbey on Monday,
August 8, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Al Lewis
officiating. Interment followed at 5:00 p.m. in the Twin
Creek Cemetery, Usona District. Cremation took place
in Red Deer, Alberta. If friends desire, memorial tributes
in Hank’s Memory may be made directly to the
Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer,
