BROWN
Mr. Robert K. Brown of Bluffton, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the age of 78 years.
Robert will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his beloved wife of 51 years, Marj; and his four daughters, Bonnie Olson (Hawkeye Pepper) of Rimbey; Linda (Barry) Billett of Edmonton; Diane Brown of Blackfalds; and Cindy (Eric) Bird of Brooks; as well as nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by two brothers, Ivan (Frances) Brown of Sayward, B.C.; and Garry (Bev) Brown of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan; one sister, Edith Thompson of Nelson, B.C.; and one foster daughter, Karen (Ken) Wildcat of Hobbema; in addition to many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Robert was predeceased by his parents; his stepdad, Howard Holder; two brothers, Lawrence and Jack; his nephew, Terry Brown; and his niece, Mardelle Brown.
A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Robert's Life will be held today, Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoadley Evangelical Missionary Church, Hoadley with Mr. Barry Klassen officiating. Interment will precede the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in the Hoadley Cemetery, Hoadley. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Robert's Memory may be made directly to the Hoadley Evangelical Missionary Church ~ Expansion Fund, c/o R.R. #2, Bluffton, Alberta T0C 0M0; or to the Hoadley Cemetery Fund, c/o R.R. #2; Bluffton, Alberta T0C 0M0.
