Orvil John
On March 26, 2012 Mr. Orvil John Biever of Ponoka, formerly of Westbank and Breton, passed away at the Ponoka Hospital and Care Centre at the age of 81 years. Orvil is survived by his son Bernie (Elsie) and grandchildren Kelly Beeton, Shanna Biever, Katie Johannson; daughter Carolyn Stevens (Bryan) and grandchildren Craig Stevens, Kara-lea Tuftin and Scott Stevens; son Larry (Tammy) and grandchildren Tyson and Riley Biever; great-grandchildren: Scott's son Austin Stevens and Kara-lea's daughters Elizabeth and Isabella Tuftin; his sisters Thelma Fritz and Delores Fritz and brother Milton Biever. Orvil was predeceased by his parents George and Victoria Biever; his sister Dorrien Herceg; and his grandson Clayton Biever. A Memorial Service took place at the Ponoka Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2012.
