Patricia Irene Jones (nee Rondeel) of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre, Rimbey on Monday, September 26, 2016 at the age of 55 years.
Patricia will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her beloved husband, Darren; her loving children: Cassidy (Clayton) of Tomahawk, Alberta; Camille (Greg) of Drayton Valley; Colby of Rimbey; Sidney (Jordan) of Lethbridge; and Marcus, Carly, and Indiana, all of Rimbey; as well as her treasured grandchildren that put a sparkle in Patricia's eyes and a smile on her face: Graci, Weston, Hudsin, Lydia, Rhyott, and Everlee. Patricia also leaves an empty space in the heart of her twin sister, Pauline (Bert); and nine additional brothers and sisters: Ed (Gayle), Pete, Anna Mae (Ron), Rob (Monika), Tim (Sandi), Wendy (Ken), Gary (Colleen), Jackie (John), and Frank; in addition to many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews; a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins in Canada and in Holland; and many cherished and caring friends. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Riek; her first husband, Randy; her nephew, Kevin; and her sister-in-law, Heather.
Darren would like to acknowledge the care and attention given endlessly to Patricia by these special people: Cassidy, Camille, Carly, Indi, Pauline, Sandi, Kendyl, Brenda Restall, and Debbie Koenig.
A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Patricia's Life was held at the Peter Lougheed Community Centre, Rimbey on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with Sonja McAlpin presiding. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. A Private Family Interment followed in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Bluffton at a later time.
