It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia (Pat) Cartier of Leduc, Alberta on April 15, 2014 at the age of 57 years after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. Pat will be lovingly remembered by husband Randy Cartier, two children Brittany and Brandon Cartier, father Herman Siegel, sister Linda Wennerstrom, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Pat was predeceased by mother Carol Siegel, brother Darcy Siegel, brother-in-law Darrel Wennerstrom, uncle and godfather Harold MacIntyre and both paternal and maternal grandparents. A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Nisku Rec Centre, 606 18 Avenue, Nisku, AB T9E 7T5. Internment to take place at a later date at Siegel Hill Cemetery in Buck Lake, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6G 1Z2 or Northern Alberta Cancer Foundation, 710, 10123 99 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1.
