Rishardus (Richard) Motiuk of Calgary, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Prince of Peace Harbour, Calgary on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the age of 84 years. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his four daughters, Danita (Dana) Wood and their children, Theoren and Emily of Calgary; Darcelle (Duane) Bott and their daughter, Shelby of Lacombe; Dolores Williams and her children, Audrey and Daniel of Sherwood Park; and Denise (Jack) Isaman of Calgary. He will also be remembered by his two brothers, Leonard (Ann) Motiuk of Calgary and Lawrence Motiuk of Nepean, Ontario. Richard was predeceased by his parents; his wife Yolande on February 24, 2004; his son Denis on April 17, 2003; and his sister Margaret Turnbull. Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home (1605 - 100 Street SE, Calgary) on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the staff of the Prince of Peace Harbour for all the care and compassion that Richard received during his battle with dementia.
