It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rita Irwin at the age of 91. She will be sadly missed by her five children Roderick (Joey), Denise (Frank) Dyck; Susan (Lawrence) Hrycan; Stephen (Valerie); and Eileen (Gary) Key; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law Gladys Outhwaite; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband George, daughter Christine, and siblings John, Eileen, Christine and Colin.
A celebration of Rita's life will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, 2012 at 2:00pm at the Rutherford Heights Retirement Residence located at 949 Rutherford Road SW, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. Joseph's Palliative Care Edmonton.
