Mr. Robert Peter Westerson of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully in the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Friday December 15, 2017 at the age of 87 years.
Bob will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lucille of 59 years, his sons, Brian (Julie) Westerson of Grande Prairie, Barry (Sheryl) Westerson of Sylvan Lake, and his daughter Dianne (Grant) Williams of Crossfield, Grand-children Keith (Veronica), Michael, David (Jasmine), Cassie (Sean), Alex (Shalom), Bryce (Karey), Great Grandchildren Hayden, Lyrin, Joseph and Oliver. Robert was predeceased by a Grandson Matthew.
Bob was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta where he later joined the Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry in August of 1950 where he served in the Korean War.
With respect for Robert's wishes no formal funeral services will be held and his cremated remains will be interred in Calgary at a later date.
