Mr. Rocky Lane Elliott of the Iola District, Bluffton, Alberta, passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at the age of 57 years.
Rocky will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife, Joni; his three sons, Kyle (Victoria) Elliott of Cochrane and their son, Micah; Kaleb Elliott (Jacquie Whittle) of Calgary; and Kole Elliott of the Iola District; and his daughter, Korina (Mike) Roussel of Strathmore and their daughter, Ellyott. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his father, Ken Elliott of Mayerthorpe; and two brothers, Roy (Ruby) Elliott of Water Valley, Alberta; and Hector Elliott of Westward Ho, Alberta; as well as other relatives and many friends. Rocky was predeceased by his mother, Joy.
A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Rocky's Life was held at the Bluffton Community Hall, Bluffton on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Bernie Rist officiating. Interment preceded the Funeral Service in the Iola Fairview Cemetery, Bluffton at 10:00 a.m. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Rocky's Memory may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
