Ruben peacefully passed away at rest Tuesday, August 3rd, 2010 in his home at the Good Samaritan Lodge in Rocky Mtn. House. Ruben is survived by his family which were mostly all extended but all loved him like a father or a brother. Ruben started out working on his father's farm in the Hardisty area, but with his passion for people he found himself in the hussel and bussel of the oil and gas industry where he enjoyed a very successful career that spanned close to 50 years. In the twilight of years he always enjoyed a spirited game of cards especially if it was for a penny a point. He will be missed by many. From the family, we appreciate all that visited him over the past few years and also the staff that treated him like a king at the Good Samaritan's Lodge RMH. An open house memorial will be held at the Capri Center, 3310 50 Avenue, Red Deer, Saturday August 21st between 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
