POOHKAY, Takla (Tillie)
Mrs. Tillie Poohkay of Rimbey, Alberta passed away on February 5th, 2010 in the Rimbey Long Term Care Centre at 93 years of age. Tillie is survived by three sons, Arnold (Dianne) Poohkay of Viking, Peter (Colleen) Poohkay of Sherwood Park, Dr. Marvin Poohkay of Edmonton, daughter, Evelyn Soleski of Viking, and daughter-in-law, Lillian (Poohkay) Sidlowich. She will be remembered by her 15 grandchildren, and 21 great-grandchildren. Tillie was predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Alexandra Romaniuk, three sisters, Cassie, Irene and Mary, son, Milton Poohkay, grandson, baby Darrin Soleski, granddaughter, Courtney Rackel, son-in-law, Julian Soleski, and her husband, William Poohkay. To honor Tillie's request, cremation has taken place, and a celebration of her life will be held on Friday, February 12, 2010 at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, 5509 - 50th Street, Rimbey, AB. at 11:00 a.m with Reverend Father Gabriel Udeh officiating. If friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
