Mr. Thomas Peter "Smiley" Jenson of Bluffton, Alberta passed away suddenly on the job in the Drayton Valley area on Saturday, March 6, 2010 at the age of 55 years. Tom will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 16 years, Betty Lee Jenson; his two sons, Brent (Sandra) Birmingham and their daughter, Emilee all of Calgary; and Ryan (Amanda) Birmingham, also of Calgary. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his mother, Viola (Fred) Fawcett of Rimbey; his two brothers, Walter (Faye) Jenson of Bluffton; and Ted (Charlene) Jenson of Rimbey; as well as many nieces and nephews. Tom was predeceased by his father, George Jenson in 1982. A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Tom's Life was held at the Last West Community Hall, Rimbey, on Saturday, March 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Don McFadyen officiating. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer.
