It is with great sadness to announce that Valerie Emes of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at the age of 80 years.

She is survived by her son, Craig (Marnie) Emes; her daughter, Karen Diggle; seven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Val is also survived by her youngest son, Jay (Kristin) McDouall of Sylvan Lake, with their children: Jayda, Kenzie, Kaydance, Havyk, and Halo. 'Nanny' will be missed by her loving family.
