With great sorrow and much love we announce the passing of Miss Wendy E. Weis of Winfield, Alberta. She passed away at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 69 years.
Wendy was a warm and thoughtful person who lived a simple, but very kind life. She was especially respectful of others, and possessed many caring and considerate traits. When Wendy wasn't working at the hardware store, she could be found tinkering in her yard.
She enjoyed spending time around her home, and took great pleasure in gardening. Wendy loved her family unconditionally, and absolutely adored her grandsons. She will be deeply missed.
Wendy will be forever remembered by her loving family: her partner and best friend, Jimmy Bala of Winfield; her son, Stacy (Jeanne) Weis of Sherwood Park; and her daughter, Kariann Weis of Calgary; as well as two cherished grandsons, Hayden and Logan.
She will also be lovingly remembered by two brothers, Steve Litvak of Consort; and Rob (Maizie) Litvak of Lacombe; in addition to several nieces and nephews, other family members, and many treasured friends.
Wendy was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Arlene.
With respect for her wishes, no formal funeral service will take place. Wendy's family will celebrate her life at an Informal Gathering in her honour, which will be held at a later date. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Wendy's memory may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
