Mr. William "Bill" Roy Enns of Rimbey, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre, Red Deer on Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the age of 38 years.
"The loss of Bill's courageous, yet gentle nature and his positive, loving spirit will be deeply felt by Beth, his family, and his numerous friends."
Bill will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his beloved wife, Beth; his boys, Aaron and Andrew; his parents, Peter and Margaret Enns of La Crete, Alberta; and his mother-in-law, Doris Nelson of Sloan, Iowa. He will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by two brothers, Richard (Anna) Enns of Peace River, Alberta; and Gordon (Anna) Enns of La Crete, Alberta; and three sisters, Ruby-Lynn De Leske of Edmonton; Audrey (Wayne) Friesen of Grande Prairie; and Eleanor (Frank) Krahn of Rimbey; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other extended members of his family. Bill was predeceased by his father-in-law, Byron Nelson; his brother-in-law, Darrel De Leske; and his nephew, Jeremy Krahn.
A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Bill's Life was held at the Zion Lutheran Church, Rimbey on Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Bert Boese officiating. Cremation followed at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Bill's Memory may be made directly to the Alberta SPCA, 10806 - 124 Street, Edmonton Alberta T5M OH3; or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 4730A Ross Street, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 1X2.
