1937-2015
Wilma (Weening) Bennik of Rimbey, passed into Glory to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the age of 78.
Wilma will be remembered and missed by her loving husband Joe of 59 years, her children Sy (Grace)Bennik of Rimbey, Audrey (Peter) de Klerk of Calgary, Joanne (Cor) Bouwsema of Calgary and Carolyn (James) Vanderhoek of Bentley, 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, one sister and four brothers (and spouses) of Calgary and area. Wilma was pre-deceased by her infant grandson Benjamin Vanderhoek in 1987.
A celebration of Wilma's life was held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Rimbey Christian Reformed Church.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, caregivers, family and friends for their wonderful care, support and prayers during her battle with cancer.
