Points to ponder

Ever consider when voting that you should only vote for the candidates you wish to fill the positions in question?

Dear Editor:

Ever consider when voting that you should only vote for the candidates you wish to fill the positions in question?

An example is that there are four council seats to fill, you have six names on the ballot to choose from of which only three people you would like to have on council. You are not obligated to vote for a fourth name if you only like three. The ballot is still valid with only three names chosen.

Think about that the next time you have any kind of election to vote on.
