Dear Editor,
On Friday, Sept. 26 I went to a chicken supper at Winfield Seniors Home.
What a disappointment.
I never knew such a small potato scoop was invented. Also there was only a wee bit of salad and a small piece of chicken and bun.
What there was tasted good, but that’s all it was – a taste. I went home and made a ham sandwich.
Also, I can’t understand why the gas price is so high when the dollar is below ninety cents and a barrel of oil is below ninety dollars a barrel. They are trying to say it is because of the demand, but I have to wonder if it is a demand for oil or the dollar.
