Reader upset over pie throwing

In the Sept. 27, 2016 edition of the Rimbey Review I see a Grade 4 student getting ready to throw a pie in a teacher’s face.

Dear Editor,

What is this world coming to?

In the Sept. 27, 2016 edition of the Rimbey Review I see a Grade 4 student getting ready to throw a pie in a teacher’s face and inside the paper There is a picture of a Grade 7 student waiting to likewise.

I think it is plain stupidity. No wonder most of our younger people don’t know what respect is, plus we have people going hungry.

I have seen, in public places, kids having food fights and I now see where they learned it.

What a shame!

Editor’s note: Money raised through the pie throwing contest went to Bentley School’s Terry Fox Run and the teachers volunteered to take part.
