Dear Editor,
On Christmas morning my wife and I were visiting our mother at the Rimbey Hospital when all of a sudden we heard the singing of Christmas carols in the hallways.
We both looked and it was a group of people walking in and out of the rooms down the hallways of the hospital who were singing.
In a very short time, they arrived at mum’s room and asked if they could go in and sing.
We said “yes.”
Well, you should have seen the expression on our mum’s face when the singers came into her room and sang.
The songs of Christmas were being sung by members of the Rimbey Lions Club who had given up Christmas morning to put a little joy into the lives of patients.
Thank you, Lions Club. You do a wonderful job. It did bring tears to many people’s eyes and made one lady; our mother and us, very happy.
