The evidence contradicting U.S. government’s take on 9/11 is plentiful and available

If you don’t have access to the Internet, or if you’re joining us late, this is the second part of a two-part editorial examining the United States government’s allegations that the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001 were entirely the acts of Islamic extremists and was spawned by a letter to the editor last week from Lorna Diggle of Rimbey who suggested that the attacks on the World Trade Center (WTC) should never have brought the towers down the way it did.

Last week we looked at five credible reasons that shed serious doubt on the events of that fateful day that included points such as how the buildings collapsed directly into their footprints – just like a controlled demolition; how a fire in a high-rise hotel in Philadelphia that was built at around the same time and with the same technique as the WTC, yet burned for 19 hours without collapsing and a number of other very suspicious points.

One of the most contentious made last week was that of The Pentagon and how, as the American government contends, a passenger airliner traveling at several hundred miles per hour could strike the building yet leave no trace on the façade of the building, of the plane’s engines which weighed approximately 50,000 pounds each and were also traveling several hundred miles per hour.

But there’s more.

The Pentagon Part II – If you check the video of The Pentagon shortly after it was allegedly hit by the airliner on Sept. 11, you’ll realize right away that something doesn’t add up as the hole in the side of the building was far too small to logically have been hit by such a large and fast object. But if you check out another source – this one being: pilotsfortruth911.org, you’ll find a list of many former pilots of major airlines with decades of experience who contend that no pilot, especially one with 20 or 30 hours of experience – as the American government suggests, could have performed the required flying to descend several thousand feet in only a few seconds while, at the same time avoiding hazards such as trees, other buildings and even street lights, to strike the side of The Pentagon, which was only 73 feet high in the first place.

Missing beams – You would think that if the events of Sept. 11, 2001 were, as the American government says, the biggest mass murder in the history of the United States, that a major criminal investigation would have taken place. But as we all saw in the footage, within hours of the attacks in New York City, rubble was already being removed – most notably the iron beams that held the WTC up. So how does the government explain why these crucial pieces of evidence were immediately shipped to the Orient where they were quickly melted down thus destroying any possible evidence of a cover-up? Perhaps the fact that the U.S. government spent $60 million investigating the Bill Clinton affair with Monica Lewinski, yet only $600,000 on the 9/11 investigation may have something to do with it.

Physics – you can argue with Ms. Diggle’s letter of last week and you can argue all the points from then as well as now, but you can’t argue with science and in this case, the science of physics. If you had dropped an apple from the top of the WTC on Sept. 10 of that year, the apple would have taken approximately eight seconds to hit the ground based on physics and the fact that aside from air, the apple would have encountered no resistance in its fall to earth. So how is it that the two towers, each 110 stories tall, took the same time to collapse? The U.S. government in their final report entitled: The 9/11 Commission Report, suggests that fires – even though jet fuel burns at a maximum of 1,800 degrees yet steel requires at least 2,500 degrees to melt; brought down the towers by ‘pancaking’ the floors. But if that were the case, the towers should have taken at least 30 to 45 seconds to come down – not 8.2 seconds, as was the case with Tower 2 and about the same for Tower 1. In other words, neither tower encountered any resistance in falling – just like a controlled demolition.

All of the below and more – If you have started to look into the events of that day, you’ll find it’s a bit like peeling an onion as you keep coming across layer after layer. For a definitive look at all the holes in the U.S. government’s case, check out the report by Dr. David Ray Griffin who in his book, The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions and Distortions; lists 112 factors that shred the government’s take on what happened. Here’s a look at just a few: the fact that six of the 19 alleged hijackers of that day have been credibly reported alive and living in the Middle East; released flight manifestos from Sept. 11 show no Arab names on any of the flights; the WTC south tower-which had a much smaller fire, collapsed before the north tower which had burned for much longer; why did President George Bush sit with school children in Florida reading a book for 26 minutes after being advised of the second plane hitting the WTC; why or how were then-Attorney General Robert Ashcroft, Washington, D.C. mayor Willie Brown and other Pentagon officials warned not to fly on commercial airliners on that day; and how or why did FBI agents also know about the attacks well before they occurred?

In fact, the information available out there that debunks the final analysis of the events of Sept. 11, 2001 could fill a year or more of this newspaper and is readily available for anyone who wants to have a look.

But do it soon.

By all indications, there will be a change in government down south this coming November and who knows what will happen by then. But just like an onion, there seems to be an almost infinite number of layers to this story, and every day more and more comes to light.
