Despite on and off showers and cloudy skies, the sun managed to break through periodically for those attending the annual Rimbey Rodeo, held this past weekend. From left to right, top to bottom: the weekend kicked off last Friday morning with a pancake breakfast held at the Rimbey Co-op followed the next morning by the Rodeo Parade which was held in less than ideal conditions. The weather quickly changed however giving patrons of the midway beautiful conditions for as train ride, a shot at a prize by hitting a bell with a hammer, or thrills such as the Spring Ride or the Tornado. The sunny weather also helped out the cowboys and cowgirls at the rodeo as well including participants in the Tie Down, Bareback and Barrel Racing events.
