Banquet and awards night held April 5

Award presented to Stacey Johnson

Rimbey Minor Hockey Banquet and Awards for the 2017/2018 season was held April 5 at the Peter Lougheed Community Center. Kent Beagle was the master of ceremonies for this event. All teams gave presentations and received recognition. The Kyle Cadsand Heart and Hustle award went to Luke Carlson, Wade Stuart Top Defenceman awards were given to Bantam, Logan Hofstra and Midget, Marshall Johnson. Travis Flickema was named coach of the year and Tasha Loov received Volunteer of the Year award. Pictured is Kent Beagle and Sally Tennant presented a surprise gift to Stacey Johnson who has been extremely invested in the Rimbey Hockey Association, having served 10 years as the manager for the Rimbey Renegades Midgets.
