Bentley students were ready to compete after being sidelined for the last year and a half.

Over the past few weeks students have been bringing home awards in all areas of athletics.

In October, the Jr. Boys Golf team won the 1J Wolf Creek Championships at The Nursery Golf Course on Oct 4. Easton McKinlay and Brynn Von Kuster also won lowest score awards.

The Jr. High Cross Country team also brought home a championship. On Oct. 14, they won the 1J CWAJHAA Championships at Burma Park near Brownfield, a few weeks earlier they also won the 1J Wolf Creek Championships at Deer Valley Camp near Alix on Sept. 29.

Keeping up the streak. The Jr. A Girls Volleyball team won the 1J Wolf Creek League Championship on Nov. 10 in Bentley and then went onto win the 1J CWAJHAA Championships in Caroline on Nov. 20.

This season, there are six Jr. high volleyball teams and one senior team competing and currently four Jr. high basketball teams and two senior teams.

Bentley students are also keeping active through the Grade six lunch hour basketball (learn to play) camps.
