The Bentley Men’s Skins bonspiel took place at the local rink with the first game the evening of February 26, and three more draws on February 27.

In the gold medal match the Don Olson rink of Spruceview with Don Olson skipping, third Joey Olson and second Allan Olson, and lead Scott Tomkins defeated the Kyle Brink rink of Bentley giving skip Kyle Brink, third Jason Wiese, second Riley Poffenroth, and lead Kyle Rose the silver.

The Bentley team of Skip Norm Rieu with third, Tim Fedor, second Colin Shultz, and lead Wade Nicks (who subbed for RobSanders) defeated the Doug Weir Rink of Sylvan Lake for Bronze.

There seems to be another bonspiel running competition somewhere else every time the date for this spiel is set.

With eight teams, all teams played each of the four draws. It was a fun social time for the participants. There was a chili lunch and a pizza supper provided on Saturday.
