Head Coach of the A & W Renegades Peewee B team

The A & W Renegades Peewee B team is off to a great start in league play; boasting a 7-2 record. The team is the self-proclaimed hardest working team in the league, and although the roster only consists of 9 skaters and a goalie, the group is very difficult to play against. Strong defensive play by the forwards and the defence plus great goaltending have been the keys to the team’s success. The players are 11 to 12 years old and the team’s focus has been on skill development and learning to play hard which is required as they continue to learn the game. Shawn Batke, Connor Brace, Rhett Bramfield, Kyden Busat, Thomas Clark, Aidan Doll, Garrett Groves, McCoy Groves, Sam Jensen, and Nilah Ledieu make up the A & W Renegades team.

The team’s success has not been limited to league play as they recently reached the A final of the Bowden tournament in earlyDecember.

A special thanks to the Atom A team who has provided players when available, to round out the two lines of the team in our recent home games.
