Renegades Atom A team host six-team tournament

‘Twas the season’ for a hockey tournament ….. The Rimbey Renegades D & J Enterprises Atom A team hosted a six-team tournament this past weekend at the Vern Poffenroth Memorial Arena. Teams hailed from Millet, Drayton Valley, Sherwood Park, Tofield, and Sylvan Lake. The Atom A team played great hockey over the weekend winning 2 of 4 games and made it to the final game on Sunday against Sylvan Lake. Renegades walked away with Silver in the tournament!

The Rimbey Renegades Atom A team is playing Tier 3 in the Central Alberta Hockey League. The team consists of 12 players… Dax Dixon, Mason Tisdale, Tegan Burton-Kortenbach, Brock Dudenhoeffer, Owen Tennant, Havyn Loov, Cameron Beagle, Finn Kelly, Ethan Evernden, Russell Barton, Douglas McFadden-Smith, and Nate Hankel and 1 goalie … Dakota MacMillan.
