The Bentley Senior Girls handball team competed in provincials in Wainwright April 23 to 25 defeating Central High from Sedgewick 22-16 to win a bronze medal. In the back are Dana Saari (assistant coach), Savanna Spendiff, Natalie Matson, Ally Holden, Taryn Heagy, Breanne Bickford, Victoria Pacholko and Delaney Zlomanchuk, In the front are Steven Lush (coach), Ashley Cumming, Christiana Alapo, Alyssa Hyink and Julia Doll.
The Bentley Junior Boys handball team competed in provincials May 1 and 2 at Millenium Place in Sherwood Park. The team defeated Calgary 15-14 in overtime to win gold. In the back are Ian Lush (assistant coach), Dawson Schuflita, Landon Warren, Kyle Gerrits, Dalton Cameron, Austin Kalev and Steven Lush (coach). In the front are Kyle Fedorchuk, Geran Christiansen, Easton Moore, Brody Beveridge, Reid Christiansen and Andrew Williams.
