Another exciting year for the Alder Flats 4-H Multi Club is under way.
My name is Koby Horeczy, this is my third year in the Alder Flats 4-H Multi Club and I am the Club Reporter.
We have many returning members this year; Emily Clarkson, Ashton Finkbeiner, Koby Horeczy, Layne Magnuson, Sarah Magnuson, Abigail Parker, Megan Parker, Emily Pietsch, Gus Pietsch, Wylie Pietsch, Leah Reid, Amy Steeves and Logan Woods.
A huge welcome to our new members; Rocky Borowic, Bailey Harden, Madison Hickey, Tanner Magnuson, Quinn Going-Rycroft and Quinn Woods.
Our awesome leaders this year are; Mrs. Christine Patten (General Leader), Mrs. Patty Reid and Mrs. Jilayne Parker (Outdoors Leaders). Welcome to Mrs. Parker, our new Outdoors Leader.
Our first activity was held on September 21 and 22, 2013. The club met at Twin Lakes for a great afternoon of canoeing. Thank you so much to Mrs. Woods for her instruction for the canoeing activity. Members and their family members later enjoyed a pot luck supper and family camp out. It was a great weekend and the weather was mostly cooperative.
On October 1st, 2013 we had our first club meeting which included orientation for the new members, elections and a Diary Workshop for the returning members.
I am looking forward to another great year in 4-H learning new skills and continuing to build great friendships.
