Several churches in the Rimbey area will come together to offer a Good Friday community service on March 30.
The service will be held on Good Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Nazarene Church and Pastor Grant Rainey will be the speaker.
Other churches taking part include The Christian Reform Church, Hoadley Missionary Church, Rimbey Alliance Church and New Life Fellowship.
Pastor Reg Darnell from Rimbey New Life Fellowship said the pastors from each of the churches rotate each year to provide the main message.
The service focuses on Good Friday and the cross of Christ and the story of the crucifixion.
Darnell said it is a wonderful way for the churches to get the message out of Good Friday.
Other ministers who are taking part in the service provide readings and the final benediction.
Darnell said the churches in Rimbey come together to provide a community service at Easter and on Christmas Eve.
