HANDBURY, John Leslie
July 7, 1951 - January 29, 2017
Les Handbury passed away at the Bentley Care Centre on Jan 29, 2017 at the age of 65. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Rita (Bill) Duffy, two brothers, Randy (Eva) Handbury, Lloyd (Debby) Handbury, son, Wesley (Terri) Cardwell, two step-sons, Dean (Cheryl) Emms, Kevin (Terry) Emms, step-daughter Wanita (Glen) Wickens, seven grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Les is predeceased by his father, Nelson Handbury, mother Doris Handbury, wife Carol, brother Neil Handbury and nephew Chris Handbury.
A private service for family and close friends was held on February 12, 2017 at 2pm at the Winfield Legion Hall.
The family would like to extend a very heart felt thank you to the care workers at the Bently Care Home and for their sincere dedication and loving care of Les since 2008.
