PREFONTAINE
M. Madeleine Prefontaine of Red Deer, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the age of 92 years.
Madeleine will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her son, Laurent (Joan) Prefontaine of Bluffton; and her daughter, Lucille (Norman) Lowe of Buck Lake; as well as seven grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. She will also be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sister, Jacqueline (Bill) Price of Black Diamond, Alberta; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews. Madeleine was predeceased by her beloved husband, Wilfrid in 1981; three brothers: Raymond, Jack, and Robert; and her sister, Harriet.
A Public Funeral Service in Celebration of Madeleine's Life was held at the Buck Lake Community Hall, Buck Lake, Alberta on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Tony Abbott officiating. Interment followed in the Siegel Hill Cemetery, Buck Lake. If friends desire, memorial tributes in Madeleine's Memory may be made directly to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre ~ Volunteer Resources, SCL 301 - Lower Floor - South Complex, 3942 - 50A Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4N 4E7.
