DUDENHOEFFER
Shirley Dudenhoeffer of Rimbey, Alberta passed away quietly at the Rimbey Hospital and Care Centre on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at the age of 80 years.
Shirley will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her best friend and companion, Daryl Hunt of Rimbey; two sons, Harold (Marian) Dudenhoeffer; and Gunnar (Heather) Dudenhoeffer; and one daughter, Dianne (Rick) Glanfield, all of Rimbey; as well as nine cherished grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and a host of treasured friends. Shirley was predeceased by her parents, Gunnar and Mabel Ellingsen; her husband, Dan in 2002; and an infant daughter, Kirstin in 1970.
A Public Memorial Service in Celebration of Shirley's Life was held at the Hoadley Community Hall, Hoadley on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with the Reverend Terry Oke officiating. Interment followed in the Hoadley Cemetery, Hoadley. Cremation took place at the Central Alberta Crematorium, Red Deer.
