The Iron Horse Arena Cross event held at the Rimbey Co-operators Agrim Centre was a huge hit with about 1,300 people coming out each day over the two weekends of Feb. 4 and 5 and Feb. 11 and 12.

Despite the cold weather, the Cutter Parade and Snow Dayz was a hit amongst community members.

Although the weather was not cooperative this weekend, the largest Lions district, geographically, held its annual convention in Camrose. There were a number of interesting presentations and speakers throughout the two day event, including a very special presentation, The Citizen of Distinction Award.

Prince Harry’s book, Spare, has been attracting plenty of attention

The Winfield Lions Club will be holding their upcoming Seniors Supper Jan. 25 after a few years off due to the pandemic.

The Rimbey Sleigh, Wagon and Saddle Club and the Rimbey Ag Society will be hosting the Annual Cutter Parade and Snow Dayz on Jan. 28.

Chorus always looking for new members

2022 was a pivotal year at the Rimbey Municipal Library. After many years of advocacy and fundraising, we finally have a completed expansion, including a programming room and staff work room. This expansion additionally led to aesthetic changes made to the main body of the library. Utilizing our new programming room, we hosted various programs ranging from our annual wine tasting, to our frequent family movie nights.

We kicked off this spring with a Bluffton ditch clean. We spent the day picking up lumps for things go in and then go out on this bumpy road to the dump.

Our 2022/23 season has been great so far!
