Mrs. Kimmel’s class at Bentley School wrapped up their unit on mechanisms that use electricity. The grade 5 students created cardboard robots that included eyes that light up and a motorized component. They could choose to create a series or a parallel circuit to light and power their robot. Bentley School students and staff held their Winter Walk and Kick Off to the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics on Feb. 7. Students participated in an Olympic themed virtual assembly where they learned about some of the different sporting events and Alberta athletes. Each class represented a different sport and wore Canadian colors to show their support and cheer on Team Canada. (Submitted)

It was a full day of activities for residents of Rimbey during the Rimbey Snow Dayz on Feb. 5, 2022. Attendees were able to take in a Cutter Parade, tack swap, silent auction, mini unicorns, local vendors, sport dogs and working dog demonstrations.
