It’s been another busy couple on months for the Bluffton West 4-H Club.

Two of the Alberta Green Party’s most recognizable members have been awarded with shadow cabinet positions following de-briefing and organizational meetings held recently in Calgary.

On March 2, the Winfield and District 4-H Beef Club hosted Zone Public speaking with the following clubs in attendance: Bluffton 4-H Beef and Sheep Club, Winfield 4-H Beef Club and the Winfield 4-H Gait Riders Club.

Two of Rimbey’s finest attended a provincial RCMP Auxiliary Policing Conference in Edmonton last weekend.

Green Party candidates Joe Anglin of the Lacombe-Ponoka riding, and Edwin Erickson of the Drayton Valley-Calmar riding came up well short with Progressive Conservative candidates winning both seats.

It was a hit 44 years ago and by all indications, the 45th Annual Rimbey Lions Club Pancake Day promises to be yet another success story.

The regular Bentley town council meeting on February 26 was shorter than usual. The main highlight was a delegation from a developer offering information about a conceptual development plan to the north of Bentley on Gull Lake.
