Indigenous communities need to be allowed to experiment and innovate through local self-rule

I love living in Alberta, but it’s a little too cold in the winter here. I’m all for enjoying the seasons in Canada, with my favourite being Fall, but the winter here is pretty extreme and it seems to have been getting worse every year. Being from Ontario and of course experiencing winter there, I’m used to the cold, or so I thought. It’s that wind chill that gets me.

My beautiful boy is three today. It’s been quite an adventurous three years with him on the planet and I love watching him grow. Every day is an adventure when you have kids and I’m so lucky I’m able to be a stay-at-home mom.

As a 30-year-old mom to two young boys, I don’t have the time to diet, but I do have the time to make time for things that are important to me like being mostly healthy.

Something I have learned since having kids is that time is a precious thing. Sometimes there really isn’t enough hours in the day to get stuff done. Naps are something I have really counted on to get me through my days, but if the kids don’t nap, it can be a long day.

Another year has almost come and gone and it’s time to look forward to the next year ahead. A whole 365 days to crush your goals on that bucket list.

With the silly season of Black Friday/Cyber Monday in the rear-view mirror we can all take a collective sigh and let our guards down. JUST KIDDING, a new month of shopping exuberance is upon us.
